Professor Alekha K. Dash
Professor Alekha K. Dash received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Pharmacy from Jadavpur University, India, and a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota, USA. Dr. Dash is the professor and chair of the Department of Pharmacy Sciences, Creighton University and the holder of the Gilbert F. Taffe Jr. Endowed Chair of Pharmacy. He serves as the Associate Dean for Research for the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. He has made important research contributions in the fields of analytical method development for complex dosage forms, phase identification and phase quantification in solid matrices, and development and evaluation of novel drug delivery systems. Dr. Dash serves on many journal editorial boards and is a Fellow of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS).
