Dr. M. P. Terence Samuel holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy & Comparative Religion at Visva-Bharati University, India. He is an accomplished scholar with numerous journal publications and has authored thought-provoking books like “Samooga Ethirnilaigal – Panmuga Panpaattiyam, Sirupaanmaiyinar (Antinomies of Society – Multiculturalism and Minorities)” and “Sikhism – A Subaltern Reading.” His research interests include Existentialism and Nietzsche Studies, Social and Cultural Philosophy, Marxism and Post-Marxism, Sociology of Religion, Religious Studies, Postcolonialism and Tamil Studies. Dr. Samuel also served as a Research Associate in the UGC-UPE Project on “Social Alienation of Minorities and Majority Response in Indian Context – A Historical and Existential Study” at Madurai Kamaraj University from 2007 to 2009. Presently, he holds the role of Advisory Board Member for the Journal, Pudhiya Aaraaichi.
