Optional Conference Tour – Asa Wright Nature Centre
We are pleased to announce that for our optional conference tour, we have partnered with HADCO Experiences to offer participants a day of retreat and relaxation at one of Trinidad’s most renowned eco-sanctuaries, the Asa Wright Nature Centre.
Nestled in the calm embrace of a luxurious and ancient rainforest along Trinidad’s Northern Range, the Asa Wright Nature Centre was established in 1967 with a mission to preserve and enhance a portion of the Arima and Aripo valleys for wildlife conservation, education, and scientific research.
The Centre spans 1,300 acres of protected rainforest and is home to an exceptionally rich biodiversity, including native mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, butterflies, and flowering plants. It also hosts an easily accessible breeding colony of the rare nocturnal Oilbird, making it a globally significant site for nature lovers and researchers alike.

Time: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Day Pass Includes
- Access to the ecolodge from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
(Please note: this does not include access to guest rooms) - Access to nature trails and natural pools
- 45-minute Discovery Trail walk with a tour guide
(10:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.) - Lunch with a non-alcoholic beverage
(12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.) - Afternoon tea on the verandah
(3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
Costing (Special Conference Rate)
HADCO Experiences has extended a special conference rate for participants:
- Asa Wright Nature Centre Day Pass: TT$350
- Return transportation to/from Kapok Hotel: TT$100
- Total Tour Price: TT$450 or US$67
