2019 Conference Rates
Conference participants are encouraged to complete their registration as early as possible to take advantage of the Early Bird rate. The Early Bird registration offers a discount on the registration rate until December 14, 2018, after which the regular registration rate applies. Registration rates are applicable to each attending and presenting author(s) whose abstracts were accepted for presentation.
Registration Rates
Participant registration and attendance requirement. All authors whose papers or posters are accepted for presentation or sessions (including chairs, and discussants) are required to register for and attend the conference and ensure that their work is presented at the scheduled sessions. Note that submission is considered a commitment to do so.

WORKSHOPS
All workshops run concurrently from 1:00 – 4:00 PM on the assigned day. Participants can choose only one workshop per day. Workshops cost $40.00US per workshop.

PAYMENT DEADLINES
Participants arriving at the conference without having pre-registered are welcome subject to availability. Payment will be required upon arrival, and will also be subject to a late charge on the relevant registration fee.
CANCELLATIONS
Non-Emergency Cancellation Policy: Such cancellations are possible up to 15 January 2019 only, as follows:
- a cancellation fee of 25% of registration costs will be applied for cancellations received up to 1 January 2019;
- a cancellation fee of 50% of registration costs will be applied for cancellations received up to 15 January 2019.
No refund is possible after 15 January 2019, unless in accordance with the Emergency Policy below.
All refunds will be done to the payee nominated account within two (2) weeks after the conference (all bank and other refund processing charges will be directly deducted from the refund).
Emergency Cancellation Policy: Refunds may be granted if an attendee is unable to attend the conference due to an immediate family death, illness, or other extraordinary verifiable circumstances. Bank and refund processing charges may still be applied. In such circumstances, the SOE Biennial Secretary must be contacted by e-mail - maurice.iton@sta.uwi.edu.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION (for regional and international participants)
Please see the complete list of conference hotels. All hotel rates include breakfast for the nights of the 18th – 20th Feb, 2019. All bookings are to be made directly with the hotel.

On-Site Payment Information
Fees are payable at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Bursary prior to the Biennial Conference 2019. The account number for the conference is 13055-1352, and must be quoted at the casher.
