Postponement of the IConETech-2020 Conference due to COVID-19

The effects of the global pandemic regarding the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is increasing, and the host country (Trinidad and Tobago) for the IConETech-2020 conference has seen its first case of the outbreak today.

The host institution (The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine) has released the following update:

“All Campuses of the University will postpone any events that can be classified as large gatherings. This includes conferences, guest lectures, public lectures etc.”

Therefore, out of an abundance of precaution for the health and safety of all the participating delegates and other stakeholders, a decision has been taken to postpone the entire IConETech-2020 conference to a later date.

We sincerely apologize for this unfortunate inconvenience and look forward to providing updates as we continue to closely monitor the spread of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
