CALL FOR ABSTRACTS FOR POSTER PRESENTATIONS

The Work/Life Balance and Ageing Project invites authors to submit abstracts for poster presentation to be de-livered at the conference; Connecting The Dots: Work • Life • Balance • Ageing . Work/Life Balance is the maintenance of supportive and healthy work and family environments which enable working people to bal-ance work and personal responsibilities. The increased life expectancy of the population has implications for retirement and elder care.

The Conference is hosted by the Institute for Gender and Development Studies and the Social Work Unit, De-partment of Behavioural Sciences and will be held on 26-27 April, 2018 Teaching and Learning Complex, The University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus. The conference will bring together partners, policy makers, public sector officials, corporate sector representatives, caregivers, civil society, regional and international scholars in the field of ageing, and members of the public.

ABSTRACT GUIDELINES

The deadline for submission of abstracts is 15 April, 2018 To submit an abstract, you must first register for Connecting The Dots: Work • Life • Balance • Ageing. To be included in the conference program, presenters must submit registration fees in full by 15 April, 2018. Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing a link to the Work/Life Balance website, where you can submit your abstract., which will then be reviewed for acceptance by the committee. Please read the following guidelines carefully before preparing your abstract, and ensure all contact information is accurate while completing the registration process. Once you submit your abstract you should re-ceive a confirmation email, if you do not receive this email within 24 hours, please contact Ms Rachel Taylor.
