WORKSHOP
There are choices up to three workshops. The workshops are listed hereunder. Workshop registration will be on a first come first served basis, until filled. There are limited spaces per workshop, so register early!

Workshop choices

Workshops are designed along three themes: Design and Implementation, Cultural Contexts and Dissemination
DAY 1: Tuesday 26th March 2019.
CHOOSE ONE of the following:

    • Designing Mixed Research: An Integrated Approach considerations.- Kathy Collins
    • Intersecting Mixed Methods with Community-Based Participatory Action Research Approaches: Implications for Study Design and Implementation - Nataliya Ivankova and Ivan Herbey
    • Writing a mixed methods dissertation - Cindy Benge

    DAY 2: Wednesday 27th March 2019
    CHOOSE ONE of the following:

    • Steps for Conducting a Mixed Methods Study- John Creswell and Mariko Hirose
    • Beyond Words: Mixed Methods Approaches to Examining Non verbal communication -Tony Onwuegbuzie and Sandra Abrams
    • An Integrated Approach to Designing a Mixed Research Course: Applicable for Face-to-Face and Online Settings - Cheryl Poth and Kathy Collins

    DAY 3: Thursday 28th March 2019.
    CHOOSE ONE of the following:

    • Fully integrated mixed methods approaches- Elizabeth Creamer
    • Culturally Relevant Mixed methods research -Peggy Shannon-Baker
    • A Step-by-Step Guide to Publishing Mixed Methods Articles in Journals and Strategies for Securing Impactful Publications -Tony Onwuegbuzie and John Hitchcock

    PAYMENT DEADLINES 
    Participants arriving at the conference without having pre-registered are welcome subject to availability. Payment will be required upon arrival, and will also be subject to a late charge on the relevant registration fee.

    CANCELLATIONS 
    If a participant is unable to attend for any reason, they may substitute by arrangement with the Conference Organizer for someone else to attend in their place. Where a participant is unable to attend and is not in a position to transfer his/her place to another person, a refund request MUST be sent in writing to the Conference Organizer before  January 28th, 2019 in order for the refund to be processed. No refund requests will be accommodated after the stipulated date.

    On-Site Payment Information 
    Fees are payable at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Bursary prior to the Mixed Methods Conference 2019. The account number for the conference is 13065-1352, and must be quoted at the casher.
